I saw a Platypus Harry Potter Christmas tree shirt. Have you ever thought that maybe some animals are actually safer in sanctuaries? For example, there are no white rhinos left in the wild that said there are zoos and sanctuaries around the world with breeding programs set in place to actually save endangered species such as the white rhino from going extinct. Although I agree some animals shouldn’t be kept as pets, the handlers can still form a healthy relationship with them and share that experience with others. David Burgmann just did a quick google, apparently, there are 2 females and one male the male which is close to death.
