If they’re in captivity and with no intention of Panda Bear gym the struggle is real shirts. It’s a poor attempt for zoos to feel better about captivity. Captivity is a complex problem and I’m not going to waste time arguing all the points. Zoos waste a lot of money and time for stuff like this that could go to animal enrichment and upgrades to enclosures, China almost exclusively uses AI. Giant Pandas are no longer endangered. They should be. Absolute rubbish, can’t even be bothered to shag each other. My ass did 5yrs flat that’s captivity! All because it is against the law to eat a panda and I barely even took a bite of its leg that’s so messed up. China usually loans out pandas in a male-female pair to zoos in other countries in hope that they mate.
