Teachers would be like I need Harry Potter just a Wizard girl living in a Muggle world shirt for saying his name! See how mad he gets saying his name!! Notice his cheeks pulsing! I had a student who had a long last name to pronounce. I have learned if you don’t have anything in life at least you have your name. So I was determined to learn it. Every day the child’s mother gave me a syllable. I still remember it. It was pronounced. You should never try to shorten or call someone by a nickname just because you can’t pronounce it. Learn it out of respect.
