Balloons are an environmental disaster killing many animals both land and sea. Helps if they never get released but to make the balloons is harmful to the environment and then they will end up in a landfill anyhow. They do make biodegradable balloons now which is way better but not if they get released as they cause harm to animals before they degrade.
