Two answers and they seem to work together: our politicians are stupid and serve the interests of the rich and (number 2), we the voters are even more stupid because we elect them even though by their actions they are continually against our very own self-interests. I’m about as left as they come (bona fide libertarian socialist) and I want to see the end of white nationalism, probably more than anyone else. I want to see big tech be held accountable for their actions. Don’t know about that but I think we should bring back the fairness doctrine for American media.
