Let’s say the woman is busy working on her laptop, reading a I’m just a girl standing in front of her class asking them to stop talking shirt, or chatting with friends, an interruption will not be appreciated especially if she did not ever look at you, or only briefly looked at you once in which case, she might have not even seen you, but you think, because she looked in your direction, she did. If she did, perhaps she only saw you, but didn’t give a positive response to having seen you as in a slight fleeting smile indicating some sort of pleasure at your existence although she looked away quickly to maybe look at you again.
