Stay connected. Depression is a constant battle. Waking up to smile another day is a blessing itself. I constantly am grateful to the family and friends who were there, and still, are here for me. The biggest thing anyone can do to help someone who has depression for me is just there for that person. Hug them when they are sad, listen to them or hold their hand when it gets tough.
